TEXT OF AN EMAIL TO MSNBC ON ITS IMPLICITLY ACCUSING CHARLES JOHNSON'S LITTLE GREEN FOOTBALLS BLOG OF BEING A 'HATE SITE.'

Sirs, I for one am appalled by the fact that you swallowed Anil Dash's nonsense allegations that LGF is a 'hate site.' Like many on the left, Dash is terrified by the sight of powerfully argued opposing viewpoints, which is what LGF has in spades. LGF is brutally honest and relentless in showing the ugly face of Islamofascism and the discussions are often barbed and freewheeling. He may not bother to hide his contempt for terror's cheerleaders, but that is borne out of intellectual honesty, not bigotry.         I suggest you change the label immediately.

        Some people have taken this as a sign of a resurgent Al-Qeada. I think that is a mis-reading of the terrorists. They are not an octopus, with tentacles everywhere, but a school of piranha. Much of the school is dead already, including the larger fishes that were in the Afghanistan part of the river, but there are more of these mindless killers swimming about.

        Remember, they are all the enemy and to them a maternity ward is as good a target as a bunker. Better even because they are more likely to succeed in their atrocities against the helpless.


        Unfortunately, the USAin press has been focusing on the Beltway Sniper- essentially a local story, but one that affects their parochial selves intently. But Al-Qeada terrorist, or ordinary serial killer who is happily 'hunting humans,' the publicity is this guy's oxygen. The wall to wall coverage is what he lives for.
